AgBiz Academy, on the other hand, is a program with a yearlong commitment. The pace is slower and the content is more personalized. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with industry peers, learn from experts and receive strategic business advice from Michelle.

Course Schedule

 
  • For the first two weeks, we will work together to determine and implement the ideal business entity/ entities & ownership to ensure a solid foundation for your business.

  • Fundamentals is all about creating your financial systems and ensuring accountability and transparency. You’ll choose accounting systems, schedules and set financial meetings with all members of the business.

  • Probably the most important aspect of the program, these weeks will consist of making the important business strategy decisions. You’ll determine the values, mission and vision for your business. You’ll also create your financial and strategic goals and create a plan to achieve them. Roles and compensation will also be determined at this time.

  • During this week, you’ll determine how goals are tracked, how people are kept accountable and how often leadership meetings should take place.

  • During our last few weeks, you’ll create a transition plan which indicates how and when responsibility and ownership are transferred. You’ll also create the legal documents you need for a smooth transition. We’ll also discuss how to best make changes, if needed.
